Sierras room part 2

Ok, well it's been taking me forever to get this done but I have started the painting process of Sierras room. YAY!!! I have only gotten the border done and it looks FANTASTIC! Granted I wanted green and managed to get yellow??? I am never trusting those paint color tabs anymore. You never get the correct color! It looks really good though and now we will do the stripes will take more time but will be so awesome! So, now that I have purple paint will it come out red???

Well, today Jaren started school. He was so excited to get on the bus this morning. Well, until the bus didn't show up. We waited and waited and every bus Jaren saw thought it was his. Unfortunately none of them were his bus so he would cry everytime a bus came by. Ohhh, it was sad!!! Luckily the bus came at 8:18 and this is how Jarens reaction was...

Last night James was gettin' down with his bad self and of course the first time is always better and of course I didn't hold the camera the correct way so unfortunately you have to watch it sideways. It's a good laugh though! I must say though... "where did he get that hip action"???

Sierra's room day 1

Ok, so today I started Sierras room. I didn't know that painting was going to be such a lengthy process. So... Today I want to share a few tips with you when you start to paint a room.
1... Buy all the supplies you need. Don't have to make 4 trips out to the store because you keep forgetting something. Therefore, make a list!!!
2... Buy a ladder! Yeah, for all you short people you do have to do the ceiling and standing on a dresser is dangerous... I know from experience... DON'T ASK!
3... Do some stretching! I never would have thought about this but playing around on the ladder and stretching your arms and legs all over the place. Yeah, you need to do some stretching!

Exciting News!!!

Ok, well usually around here "Exciting News" means you are pregnant. Well, guess what??? I'M NOT!!! Yesterday I went to Lowes to FINALLY get the paint for Sierras room. I was quite shocked to see how much the price of paint was but I have been putting this off long enough so I just took the plunge and did it!! GO ME! I have also been looking for carpet to put downstairs in the basement for any people who want to come visit. Only one taker up on that so far! Thanks Katie!!! So, I decided to go in the back and see what kind of remnants they had. Usually you can't find anything that great, but the lady told me to come quickly. She has just marked a $394 rug down to $85. I couldn't resist! It is beautiful. It is a pretty beige carpet with beautiful decorations on the side. Pictures to come. After all I killed two birds with a thing called a "credit card" yesterday! Off to paint Sierras room now. She just woke at 8:00 am. Love that girl!!!

Update...

Well, not much is going on except totally stressing about the cost of school here in Montgomery Il. I can't believe how much they want just to put your kids in school For 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I won't even add up the cost! I do however pretty much have everything turned in for the kids to go to school. Just one more shot for James and we're done! Yesterday I took a quick trip to Davenport to see some friends which was really nice. I'm glad to have such great friends. I really do miss it there and for some odd reason. The people are really friendly and I actually like the easy atmosphere there. Although, they do need a few more good restaurants around!!! I went by myself to have a day to myself which was really needed and about 3o minutes into the drive I felt so sad because I missed my kids so much. Sierra the most because I haven't left her for a long amount of time. So of course I balled half way to Davenport. Am I the only one to do that? I'm such a nerd! Anyways that's all for now. Just felt like typing and sharing my thoughts since James doesn't really care!!! =)
