Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Well, Dad since we can't be there for your Birthday the boys and I decided to paint you a picture today. Hope you like it!!! We love you!

My last Daylily...

So, I figured since this is my last daylily of the season I should take a picture of it and show it off. Next season I will probably have my own Daylily blog and show off all my blossoms. I was so excited to get a box full of more daylilies from my mom the other day. The boys had a great time planting them.

LL Cool Jaren!

My mom sent some fun dress up clothes for Jaren for his Birthday and I thought he looked like LL COOL J when he came out with the microphone and the rappers hat and the lay around his neck. "What's up J???"

All done!!!

Well, today we went and got Jaren screened for his speech to get him into pre-school. He actually did really well and all the ladies thought he was sooo cute. He did qualify to get into pre-school though which makes me sooo excited. He will be going 5 times a week for 2-3 hours. It will be great for him to get out of the house and meet some new friends. He starts on the 5th of September and now we just have to get him registered and get physicals and dental exams done. At least for now I'm worry free and have better things to do such as plant more flowers!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAREN!!!

Jaren August 2005

Jaren 2006
Jaren 2007
Jaren 2008!!!!

I can't believe how much Jaren has grown the past 3 years. He is just so awesome. We definitely wished we could've passed the 2nd year of his life because it was worse than the terrible twos. It was depressing!!! He basically spent the 2nd year of his life in misery. He would cry, cry, and cry!!! He did have his happy moments though. We thought something was totally wrong with him and when July of 2008 rolled around he started being the happiest kid around. SIGH of relief! I am so happy that we have our old Jare Bear back and he is so happy! He has been such a joy in our life and I remember the day he was born and how easy it was to welcome him into this world. LITERALLY!!! That's for another blog!!! I am so excited to see how he grows and what he will achieve. As for right now he is such a Lamont and is into Firefighters and trucks. The last picture is a picture of Jarens B-day party we had for him a week ago. We had our favorite neighbors over for cake and had a great time! Jaren has then since been on a Birthday high so we've been celebrating for a whole week with cookies, cake, and treats on the side!

Blueberry Tree

Here are some cute pictures of James when we planted the blueberry tree!

Daylily Garden

A close up to our plantings of Daylilies. Unfortunately they are pretty much done blossoming...
The complete picture of the Daylilies James and I planted!
James feeling a bit sad that he didn't have anymore to plant... =(
Well, I am proud to say I am also taking on becoming a "Daylily Fanatic". As most of you know my family is pretty much "addicted" to Daylilies. Growing up I can remember telling my Mimi that I thought dirt was the grossest stuff and I "NEVER" wanted to plant flowers like the other 4 generations in my family. Now that I have my own home I am constantly dreaming and figuring out where to put daylilies and other fun little garden flowers for the kids to look at and plant. James helped me plant all of these Daylilies today and we had a blast. He kept calling them trees and said that they learned how to plant trees in school. He wanted to plant more but I told him that we had to take a trip out to Granna's house to get more and he said "Mom, that is sooo far far away to get flowers". He was up for going though! I forgot to take a picture of our little Blueberry tree we also planted but I will post that up soon.

Sunday Stroll

Well, I must say we are enjoying Montgomery very much. Yesterday was our first full day at church. I must say it went OK... The fact that Sierra puked her pancakes all over my skirt a few times didn't help but James enjoyed primary and Jaren did a super job in nursery. I did bribe James that if I could give him a haircut he could use his new pool. He did a pretty good job letting me do his hair. The pool on the other hand is pretty stinky but the kids love it. We have some neighbors that live a row down from us. The Clements are sooo cool! They have 5 kids and of course they are Mormon!!! We joined them for a "jaunt" around our new neighborhood lastnight. I decided it was finally time to let James use his bike that he got for his birthday but has never ridden it. They have a pretty cool bike trail here too so I am totally excited about that. Ok,,, so let me get to the point! James did a SUPER job riding for his first time. He actually rode a whole mile by himself with only a few pushes. With only one crash where he totally laughed it out and one really bad incident where he rode out into the road and didn't stop when a car was coming the rest went really well. Jaren scooted on his Pooh car which was crazy! He was like a little drunk driver on 4 wheels. We laughed at him the whole time. We think he has Mike Lamont driving genes!!!! We love having really cool neighbors and friends. The best thing is that they are totally into dinosaurs and firetrucks with the dad being a Fireman and all. I feel like we are going to have a great time here!

Mississippi Valley Fair and update on move

Judy, Stephanie, and Jessica
Judy
Picture of the end of the ride!

Alan Sexy Jackson!!! This picture actually looks a lot better when blown up!
Well, we are finally out of Davenport and into our new house in Montgomery IL. Although, I have to tell ya'll about my last day there. The walkthrough went well and Glenda was sad to see us go. How sad.... I want to thank the ladies in our church, thank you so much for all of the help with cleaning etc... It really meant a lot that you were there when I needed you most. My friend Stephanie wanted to meet up at the Mississippi Valley Fair with me and her other friend. We got there and of course who had to be playing that night but Alan Jackson. Ok, so I had to get a ticket to see him because it's my dream to see him and Garth Brooks on stage. I have never been so excited! So, I got a bunch of great pics and made friends with a bunch of tall people to take the pictures!!! Also, I decided to face my fears and go on a ride I never thought I would go on. I really didn't feel bad about spending the $$$ to do it either. Jake knows how much I hate tough rides and when I told him he was in complete shock. He thought I was pretty cool for doing it though. So, that my friends is how I spent my last day in Davenport. Could it get much better? Well, only if Garth was playing with Alan!

It has been quite nice having a yard for the kids to play in and trying to get the house in order. It will take a long time but I'm hoping that it will be nice enough so Jaren can have his 3rd B-day party. I have sooo much to do and so little time. So, that's why I'm going to end with this blog now and post some pictures and call it good!
